This is why we would like to introduce the people behind the scenes in our new serial "We are VETTER".

Vol. 1 - Our team of welders

Our skilled welders: A well-coordinated and experienced team, certified by SLV [German Welding Engineering Organisation] according to DIN 18800, Part 7, and provided with welding certificates according to EN 287, Part 1. They are our experts who are highly familiar with the most various welding procedures and techniques including use of our welding robot.

They are members of our team, they are VETTER, they are "Best of German Engineering"!

Vol. 2 - Our technical department

Every day our employees in the Technical Department face the technical challenges and design perfect crane solutions tailored to your needs using latest CAD tools. They provide engineering for special solutions, e.g. particularly tricky individual applications such as offshore operation, explosion protection, ATEX, American Standard, etc. Moreover, these employees have years of experience in special certifications such as Germanischer Lloyd, Bureau Veritas, etc.
Our welding experts and structural engineers ensure that you are always on the safe side when using VETTER products.

This team is completed by the employees of our Documentation Department who know all about the extensive requirements regarding document management and the directives for correct instructions and explanations.

Vol. 3 - Our electricians

Throughout the last decades, the crane industry has been faced with ever rising requirements. Today, cranes communicate with one another, control systems of the most various equipment need to be harmonised, and a quite simple hoist has to work reliably at the push of the button. What is behind all this? Partly quite complex electric and control equipment. The VETTER company has been growing with these requirements and offers modern and sophisticated equipment. The highly qualified employees in our professional electrics department ensure that our products always meet your requirements.

They are the professionals wiring your cranes and hoists. In case of preassembled cranes, they are the specialists ensuring that your engineers at the building site face easy installation conditions. They design control systems which ensure that your crane lifts and moves objects reliably and as intended.

Vol. 4 - Our painters

Our experts in surface finishing provide for clean, rust-proof, and perfectly coated cranes so that you can rely on VETTER quality in all weathers.

Our experts paint the jib arms and columns in our three standard colours depending on your choice. But on request you can also obtain many special colours against a small surcharge. Accordingly, you can order your crane in your special colour and benefit from the special protection by multiple painting in accordance with corrosivity class C3. We mainly use water-based paints because VETTER attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental protection.

Painting at VETTER does not simply mean spraying paint on a steel surface, but is a matter for our specialists.

Vol. 5 - Our management team

In a company with many employees, a handful of people are required who are at the controls – our management team.

They jointly provide for a smooth operation of all processes for being able to offer highest quality.
