Polyester fabric belt for normal use

The cost-effective polyester belts have been designed for normal use of load turning devices and are manufactured according to DIN 61360. These belts are dimensionally stable, impregnated (yellow), and provided with 2 end loops and 2 intermediate loops. Endless belts are also available. The belts are elastic, flexible, light, and perfectly suitable for sensitive surfaces. Edge and belt protectors are required for sharp-edged parts.

Polyester fabric belts with polyurethane coating - suitable for medium duty

These lifting belts are made of polyester (PES) according to DIN 61360 and provided with 2 intermediate loops. Moreover, they are provided with a polyurethane coating protecting the fabric belts from damage and increasing the service life considerably. Advantages of polyurethane coating:

• Slip resistance
• Wear resistance
• Transparency
• Limited cut resistance

Despite the polyurethane coating, we recommend edge and belt protectors for sharp-edged products.

Steel-wire belt for heavy duty

These lifting belts are made of braided steel wire and provided with a polyurethane coating on all sides. These belts are designed for heavy-duty use and provided with a belt lock or available as continuous belts. The belts are used for large capacities exceeding 25 tons; they feature long service life, transparency, slip resistance, wear resistance, insensitivity to light and heat and high cut resistance. However, magnetic edge and belt protectors are recommended for extremely sharp-edged parts.

Chains

Chains are used for hot goods. They are also more suitable than polyester belts in harsh environments. The turning of moulding boxes in foundries is a classical application. The chains are available in endless or divided design. For capacities up to 10 tons, shortening clutches are available for connecting the chain ends. They can also be used to reduce the chain length. For capacities exceeding 10 tons, connecting chain links are used.

Loose roll

The so-called “loose roll” can be used in addition to a load turning device with electric drive to turn long components. The “loose roll” follows the device and is not electrically driven.

Edge and belt protectors

Edge and belt protectors are used to protect the component to be rotated as well as the belts of the load turning device. They are made of aluminium and fitted with a joint and strong permanent magnet.

Radio remote control

The standard radio remote control by VETTER provides for convenient and safe operation of all functions of the load turning device.

Spring cable reel

The spring cable reel can be used to establish the power supply between the crane and the hoist. It is available in different cable lengths.
