Description of data processing

As part of the survey, we may collect the following data:

  • Personal data: e.g. name, email address (if necessary)
  • Survey metadata: e.g. date, time, duration of the survey, name of the survey, participant IP address
  • Device information: e.g. device type, operating system, MAC address, client version
  • Xour answers in the survey itself

Depending on the type of survey, personal data may be required or the survey may be conducted anonymously. We will inform you specifically in the respective survey form which information is required.

The survey is conducted via ‘Microsoft Forms’. Microsoft processes the data as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and is strictly bound by instructions.

 

Legal basis and purpose of data processing

Your data is generally processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in conducting and evaluating the survey. If another legal basis is relevant, you will be informed of this in the respective survey form. The purpose of the processing is to improve our products, ensure appropriate quality assurance and maintain the business relationship.

 

Disclosure of data

The data collected will be used exclusively for market and opinion research purposes by VETTER Krantechnik GmbH and its affiliated companies. It will only be passed on to third parties if this is required or permitted by law.

Microsoft supports us in processing as an external service provider (processor).

 

Storage / deletion

Your personal data will only be stored until the survey has been evaluated and no further analysis of the responses is required.

 

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to object at any time for the future.
